Susan Grinels, Lander, WY

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC and as an adult I have worked in all three corners of Virginia - the tidewater, the mountains and northern Virginia, in my previous career as a certified veterinarian tech. Being a vet tech developed my appreciation for the relationships between humans and animals, and this is why I enjoy using our canine companions as subject matter in my artwork. I graduated in 1991 with a degree in graphic design, from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. I now have a sign shop/studio, teach art & design classes and do artwork. I live in Lander, Wyoming with my husband, three rescued dogs, one rescued cat and two old horses.
